Are you foolish and Naive like me? I hope so.

The author of this piece is unknown. It has been debated who the original author is, but the facts point to accurate research in this article and the need to stand up and defend before we have no Constitutional beacon anymore.

"My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it."
- Barack Obama

History Unfolding

I am a student of history. Professionally, I have written 15 books on history that have been published in six languages, and I have studied history all my life. I have come to think there is something monumentally large afoot, and I do not believe it is simply a banking crisis, or a mortgage crisis, or a credit crisis. Yes these exist, but they are merely single facets on a very large gemstone that is only now coming into a sharper focus.

Something of historic proportions is happening. I can sense it because I know how it feels, smells, what it looks like, and how people react to it.. Yes, a perfect storm may be brewing, but there is something happening within our country that has been evolving for about ten to fifteen years. The pace has dramatically quickened in the past two.

We demand and then codify into law the requirement that our banks make massive loans to people we know they can never pay back? Why?

We learned just days ago that the Federal Reserve, which has little or no real oversight by anyone, has "loaned" two trillion dollars (that is $2,000,000,000,000) over the past few months, but will not tell us to whom or why or disclose the terms. That is our money. Yours and mine. And that is three times the $700 billion we all argued about so strenuously just this past September. Who has this money? Why do they have it? Why are the terms unavailable to us? Who asked for it? Who authorized it? I thought this was a government of "we the people," who loaned our powers to our elected leaders. Apparently not.

We have spent two or more decades intentionally de-industrializing our economy. Why?

We have intentionally dumbed down our schools, ignored our history, and no longer teach our founding documents, why we are exceptional, and why we are worth preserving. Students by and large cannot write, think critically, read, or articulate. Parents are not revolting, teachers are not picketing, school boards continue to back mediocrity. Why?

We have now established the precedent of protesting every close election (violently in California over a proposition that is so controversial that it simply wants marriage to remain defined as between one man and one woman. Did you ever think such a thing possible just a decade ago?) We have corrupted our sacred political process by allowing unelected judges to write laws that radically change our way of life, and then mainstream Marxist groups like ACORN and others to turn our voting system into a banana republic. To what purpose?

Now our mortgage industry is collapsing, housing prices are in free fall, major industries are failing, our banking system is on the verge of collapse, social security is nearly bankrupt, as is medicare and our entire government. Our education system is worse than a joke (I teach college and I know precisely what I am talking about) - the list is staggering in its length, breadth, and depth.. It is potentially 1929 x ten... And we are at war with an enemy we cannot even name for fear of offending people of the same religion, who, in turn, cannot wait to slit the throats of your children if they have the opportunity to do so.

And finally, we have elected a man that no one really knows anything about, who has never run so much as a Dairy Queen, let alone a town as big as Wasilla, Alaska All of his associations and alliances are with real radicals in their chosen fields of employment, and everything we learn about him, drip by drip, is unsettling if not downright scary (Surely you have heard him speak about his idea to create and fund a mandatory civilian defense force stronger than our military for use inside our borders? No? Oh, of course. The media would never play that for you over and over and then demand he answer it. Sarah Palin's pregnant daughter and $150,000 wardrobe is more important.)

Mr. Obama's winning platform can be boiled down to one word: Change. Why?

I have never been so afraid for my country and for my children as I am now.

This man campaigned on bringing people together, something he has never, ever done in his professional life. In my assessment, Obama will divide us along philosophical lines, push us apart, and then try to realign the pieces into a new and different power structure. Change is indeed coming. And when it comes, you will never see the same nation again.

And that is only the beginning..

As a serious student of history, I thought I would never come to experience what the ordinary, moral German must have felt in the mid-1930s. In those times, the "savior" was a former smooth-talking rabble-rouser from the streets, about whom the average German knew next to nothing. What they should have known was that he was associated with groups that shouted, shoved, and pushed around people with whom they disagreed; he edged his way onto the political stage through great oratory. Conservative "losers" read it right now.

And there were the promises. Economic times were tough, people were losing jobs, and he was a great speaker. And he smiled and frowned and waved a lot. And people, even newspapers, were afraid to speak out for fear that his "brown shirts" would bully and beat them into submission. Which they did - regularly. And then, he was duly elected to office, while a full-throttled economic crisis bloomed at hand - the Great Depression. Slowly, but surely he seized the controls of government power, person by person, department by department, bureaucracy by bureaucracy. The children of German citizens were at first, encouraged to join a Youth Movement in his name where they were taught exactly what to think. Later, they were required to do so. No Jews of course.
How did he get people on his side? He did it by promising jobs to the jobless, money to the money-less, and rewards for the military-industrial complex. He did it by indoctrinating the children, advocating gun control, health care for all, better wages, better jobs, and promising to re-instill pride once again in the country, across Europe , and across the world. He did it with a compliant media - did you know that? And he did this all in the name of justice and .... . .. change. And the people surely got what they voted for.

If you think I am exaggerating, look it up. It's all there in the history books.

So read your history books. Many people of conscience objected in 1933 and were shouted down, called names, laughed at, and ridiculed. When Winston Churchill pointed out the obvious in the late 1930s while seated in the House of Lords in England (he was not yet Prime Minister), he was booed into his seat and called a crazy troublemaker. He was right, though. And the world came to regret that he was not listened to.

Do not forget that Germany was the most educated, the most cultured country in Europe It was full of music, art, museums, hospitals, laboratories, and universities. And yet, in less than six years (a shorter time span than just two terms of the U. S. presidency) it was rounding up its own citizens, killing others, abrogating its laws, turning children against parents, and neighbors against neighbors.. All with the best of intentions, of course. The road to Hell is paved with them.

As a practical thinker, one not overly prone to emotional decisions, I have a choice: I can either believe what the objective pieces of evidence tell me (even if they make me cringe with disgust); I can believe what history is shouting to me from across the chasm of seven decades; or I can hope I am wrong by closing my eyes, having another latte, and ignoring what is transpiring around me..

I choose to believe the evidence. No doubt some people will scoff at me, others laugh, or think I am foolish, naive, or both. To some degree, perhaps I am. But I have never been afraid to look people in the eye and tell them exactly what I believe-and why I believe it.

I pray I am wrong. I do not think I am. Perhaps the only hope is our vote in the next elections.

Where do we go from here?

Well it's been almost 1 week since the massive turn out for the Tea Parties across the country, How'd we do? Some put the estimates at well over 400,000 participants. That's a huge turnout for one day. I have heard from hundreds that wished they could have gone. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions, supported the events even if they were not there. The result? Opposition is ticked off! Haven't you heard? We got out and spoke up and those that we oppose didn't like it one bit. They have been used to getting their way and the silent majority sitting quietly with their hands folded in their laps taking it in. Now that we are speaking up and saying ENOUGH the opposition doesn't like it very much and, frankly, doesn't know how to handle it. Check some of these out:

You catch that? Can you smell the hatred and misguidance? I know this will anger many of you to see this, but it should inspire you. We are getting to these boneheads. We are making progress. The louder we yell and the louder we speak up, the more they will come unraveled. That is, if we keep moving and don't get comfortable.

Listen, I am not an activist. I don't do this kind of stuff personally. I'd rather be on a boat in the tropics. However, I love my country and I don't want to lose what we have worked so hard for in the last 200 years because some extremists want to do away with our Constitution and recreate America as we know it. Don't think it's happening like that? check this out:

The point I'm making here is that if we don't continue to be a louder squeaky wheel, we lose. If we don't stand up and order the Federal Government to cut taxes, reduce in size and limit involvement in local affairs, we lose. We must stretch out our arms and raise our voices even if it's not comfortable. Even if it hasn't personally effected you yet. Here's what I mean:

My business partner went to an event in Atlanta last weekend and he and his wife took a cab. The man that drove the cab was Arab. They swapped stories, talked about the government and made good conversation. The man explained that he came over here with his own saved money, worked his way through college, without government help and now supports his family on his own. My partner asked if it made him mad that illegal immigrants were getting free assets and handouts from the government while this man worked hard for what he got. You know what his answer was? "No, it hasn't effected me yet. When it does, I'll get involved". My friends, that is the answer of defeat. It's too late then.

Many of you don't say anything or do anything because either you don't see the impact yet or you assume someone else is fighting for you. That is the wrong assumption and it could be a costly one. We all need to step a little out of our comfort zone. Trust me, it pails in comparison to what was sacrificed 200 years ago. Want to know what they sacrificed to ensure our freedoms today (ordinary Americans)?

Read this:

http://usff.com/usff/sacredhonor.html

These were ordinary men and women. They were told that they wouldn't make a difference, especially against such a large government like Great Britain. Look what standing up and not giving up got them!

So what to do? How do you make a difference? How can you get involved? Here is q quick rundown:

1 - Get Educated - read about what is going on. Choose your media wisely. Most of the main stream is very biased (admittedly too). Fox news gets alot of flack by the mainstream and that is a good thing. They also have the highest ratings and the broadest audience (right and left) of all news channels.

Also check out the book "The 5000 year leap". This is critical to what is happening and what the founding fathers laid out for us. You can check it out here:

5000 Year Leap: 30 Year Anniversary Edition with Glenn Beck Foreword

2 - Get involved. Find bills that are of interest to you and start calling congressional leaders and ask them to vote for/against that bill. Make a habit to call/email/fax daily. Even if it's one call a day. If everyone did that daily the results would be staggering! You can search for current legislation here:

http://thomas.loc.gov/

You can also search congressional leaders here:

http://www.congress.org/congressorg/home/

That is how the process is SUPPOSED TO WORK. You tell your leaders what you want and don't want and they are SUPPOSED to support your wishes. If nobody speaks up, they have free reign.

3- Join a Team -
this is so much easier to do when you have a team backing you up. This could come in the form of a political organization like RAWAmerica.org, Americansforprosperity.com or others. That is how the far left radical group Moveon.org did it. It might come in the form of creating a local group where you meet once a week or month and discuss issues and develop a game plan to attack those issues. If you want to start a group or join one, please email me at scott@rawamerica.org.

It takes a nation. Nobody can do this alone. Together we can make a difference and restore our values and grow this Country the right way. I welcome your thoughts, but I welcome your action even more. Keep the motion alive and don't rest, the opposition isn't!

The warnings were there.

Just so we're all clear and on the same page. The warnings were there about this potential (and now obvious) financial crisis. What started in the Clinton administration bubbled over into the Bush administration. Bush quickly realized the potential problem of these bad loans and warned Congress back in 2001. This video clearly shows Barney Frank didn't heed the warnings AND is shown stating that the governments job is not to "bailout" businesses. How quickly they changed their tune! It does make you wonder: did they plan this all along so that when Obama got into office they could push their massive spending plan or is it shear stupidity? Hmmm - Greed or Stupidity or Both? I'll take door number 3 Bob! You gotta watch this short clip.

Goodbye Common Sense

My parents told me about Mr. Common Sense early in my life
and told me I would do well to call on him when making decisions. It
seems he was always around in my early years but less and less as time
passed by. Today I read his obituary.

Please join me for a
moment of silence in remembrance. For Common Sense had served us all so
well for so many generations.

Obituary: Common Sense

Today we
mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us
for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth
records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be
remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as knowing when to
come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, life isn't
always fair, and maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple,
sound financial policies (don't spend more
than you earn) and reliable
parenting strategies (adults, not children are
in charge).

His
health began to deteriorate rapidly when well intentioned but
overbearing
regulations were set in place. Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with
sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for
using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an
unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost
ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job they themselves
failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It
declined
even further when schools were required to get parental consent to
administer Aspirin, sun lotion or a sticky plaster to a student; but
could
not inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted
to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten
Commandments became
contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals
received better
treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a
beating when you
couldn't legally defend yourself from a burglar in your own
home and the
burglar can sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally
gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to
realize that a steaming cup
of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her
lap, and was
promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by
his parents, Truth and Trust; his
wife, Discretion; his daughter,
Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is
survived by three
stepbrothers; I Know my Rights, Someone Else is to Blame, and I'm a
Victim.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was
gone. If you
still remember him pass this on. If not, join
the majority and do nothing.

Stand tough!

Why is it so hard for public figures to stand firm on their beliefs? Typically the pat answer is obviously they are in fear of losing votes, popularity or endorsements. Why then do we call them roll models? If someone in a public position can't stand true to their values and beliefs than they don't get my respect or my vote. It angers me and pains me to see people who are so strong on positions and values, switch sides for fear of possible backlash. What the hell are you afraid of? Why are so many of us afraid of what someone might think? Why do so many of us keep so quite when we really want to shout out what we really feel. Haven't we learned that those that shout the loudest and the longest get the results they came for? Haven't we learned?

see this:

How can you stand up more often and voice your opinion without fear of backlash?

What's your first thought each morning?

The thoughts you think before lopping off to sleep at night - as well as the thoughts you think first thing in the morning, set the course for your life.

Yet, the average person is totally unconscious about what he thinks about during these important moments.

What you picture in your mind's eye when you arise each morning sets the tone for how you will feel - and what results you will get - for the rest of the day.

What you picture before you go to bed at night has a major influence upon what you will dream about
- and how you will feel when you awaken.

You can go to bed with the final thought, 'I'm really tired.' And guess what? You'll wake up hours later still feeling tired. The mental movie of fatigue played all night long programming you to wake up almost as tired as when you went to bed.

But if you change your thought before bed to, 'Mingtian, wo yao gan dao fei chang hao - that's Mandarin Chinese for, 'Tomorrow I will feel great' - and if you picture yourself arising in the morning filled with energy and pizzazz - then I assure you - it will happen.

I've taught this technique to thousands of people - and when they try it - they're simply blown away at how powerful and TRUE it is. Yet, it's really a simple concept.

Now let's think about how the above applies to other areas of your life. For example, let's say you want to wake up leaner and healthier than when you went to bed. Don't go to bed with a mental picture of being overweight and unhealthy because that's what you'll wake up thinking.

Sure, physical reality for you right now may be the opposite of what I'm telling you to mentally imagine. But the only way out of the maze is to begin imagining different. Begin seeing yourself the way you want to be in the future, as if you are there right NOW.
Then do whatever it takes to make your imagination become the reality you seek.

If you go to bed with the image of waking up richer, wealthier and more prosperous - then your subconscious will work on this image as you sleep. In turn you'll begin each day with prosperous thoughts.

Carry prosperous thoughts with you during the day - and before you know it, you'll be bumping into one opportunity after another - all designed to make you move up in this world.

Live your day with powerful movies playing in your imagination and before long your imagination will be what you're living.

"What's the difference between imagination and reality?"

Long pause.

"TIME," "Time is the only difference between imagination and reality. There's a fine line between the two - and no one knows where that fine line begins - or ends."

P.T. Barnum once said, "Imagination is the elixir of life."

When you use your creative imagination to build a brighter future
- you feel the effervescent energy of an elixir bubbling up all around you. You come to understand that everything in the Universe vibrates - including YOU.

Put negative movies into your mind and you lower your vibration. No bubbling energy can be felt.

Play positive movies in your mind and you instantly stand up straighter, breathe more fully, get a gleam in your eye and power in your step. You immediately begin to vibrate with MORE life.

To change your results you must change how you feel - and how you feel is based on how you picture things in your mind. If you don't feel a strong, pulsing vibration inside your mind and body right now, it is because you're looking at low-level mental pictures and movies.

Upgrade, my friend. Play only the best. Think only of the best and the best will pursue you while you move toward it.

Could Communism Really Exist in the USA?

Just listen and tell me what you think. Please don't think that "it could never happen" in the USA. When the able sit by and do nothing, anything can happen. This should get your attention. Give me your comments and one way you could make a difference to halt this.
